Catalina was born and raised just a few meters from Avenida 9 de Julio, in Buenos Aires. Before discovering her true vocation in the arts, she studied Architecture, a discipline that led her to explore the relationship between the body and its environment — a theme that runs through all her work today. Her research on the body, tattoos, and memory is nourished by images taken from nature, abstractions of landscapes, and strokes inspired by shadows. Using the hand-poke technique, each tattoo session becomes for her a unique ritual, where the personal experiences of each client are transformed into marks full of meaning.
