About Cucu Studio

Founded in 2018 by Zina Samoletova, a talented Russian artist. After she studied art and textile design in Saint Petersburg, Zina discovered her passion for tattooing. This journey led her all over Europe to finally settle down in Buenos Aires, where she opened her own tattoo studio.

Cucu Studio is a multicultural space, where artists from diverse backgrounds and places gather to share their passion for Art and Tattoos. We are one of the first fine line tattoo studios in the country. Since our opening, we have established ourselves as one of the most prestigious tattoo studios in Argentina.

You can find us in the heart of San Telmo, one of the most beautiful and historic boroughs of Buenos Aires, hidden behind brick walls and huge windows that overlook our interior patio filled with plants. A peaceful island in the middle of the city.

The studio is located in an amazing building designed by Antonio Morello, the renowned architect behind iconic projects in NYC like Balthazar, Miu Miu’s, and Comme des Garçons’ flag stores.

Our team consists of talented resident tattoo artists, each with their own distinct style and story to tell. We also welcome and mentor apprentices, nurturing and supporting their growth towards becoming accomplished tattoo artists.

We can proudly say that several of the artists who have been part of our team, have now become independent and opened their tattoo studios. Something we are so happy about and encourage our artists to do.

Our mission is to provide our clients with an unforgettable experience in a wonderful space. We strive to leave them not only with a beautiful tattoo but also with cherished memories and wanting to return.

We wish to become far more than just a tattoo studio. We envision a space where creativity blossoms. A place where the transformative power of tattoos merges with personal journeys, leaving an indelible mark on hearts and minds.

Our vision is to forge connections and cultivate a vibrant community that celebrates the art of tattooing.
